Your Home Office

Many of us this year have been working from home, and its reported that many organisations will be testing flexible working, combining home and office working, over the coming months. So why not make a stylish home office that’s both practical and comfortable, to blend in with your home interior.

The most necessary item for any home office is a desk. Whether its sole purpose is for work, or doubles as a dining table in the evenings, you ideally need a desk for long stints working at a computer. We have created an elegant and stylish Baltic birch plywood table, complete with cable access and sturdy hairpin legs. The height is 73cm, making it ideal for working at with either a dining chair or office chair.  The table arrives flat-packed, with the legs quickly attached with screws. The legs also have rubber feet, so hard floors remain scratch-free.

If you use a laptop for long periods of time, your posture can suffer, as you dip your head to meet the screen. We recommend using a laptop stand with a separate mouse and keyboard, so you can sit up straight as you view your screen. We have created a stylish plywood stand that can be adjusted to fit compact or large laptops. Designed to easily pack away in the evening, or store your laptop out of the way, this versatile stand looks great in any home.

Storage is always handy to have, especially when you have a lot of paperwork, or you just want to hide work away in an evening. So why not treat yourself to a piece of furniture that looks good and fits in with the style of your home, instead of the traditional grey filing cabinet or document box. We have a range of Baltic birch plywood furniture to suit any home, and sizes to fit your needs. And if you don’t see what you’re looking for in our shop, we make bespoke custom furniture too.

And to give your home office some finishing touches, why not add accessories. These can be practical, stylish and make your work space unique. Whether its with a simple desk tides, a subtle wall hook, or a plant to keep you company, whatever you decide to add to your home office, remember to make it part of your home.
