CNC Machining with Wood

Our professional Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machines are capabile of cutting wood along three axes (X, Y and Z). Therefore, we are able to not just cut wood, but we have the capability to create 2D and 3D shapes. Due to the fact that we utilise state of the art computerised machinery, we are able to accurately cut and carve all types of wood to exact precision. CNC routers are effectively large computer controlled drills which can cut and shape materials such as wood and plastics.

With the use of our machine cutting tool bits we are able to efficiently work with woods such as plywood, MDF, melamine, chipboard and other hard woods and soft woods such as pine, oak and mahogany to name a few.

We design in CAD software such as Fusion 360, as well as VCarve in order to produce our wooden products and furniture to exacting standards. Our CAD drawings are converted to tool paths which tell the CNC machine how to interpret each line or path we want cut.

We produce our own range of wooden gifts and plywood furniture which is sold on our online store. However, if you have a CAD drawing that you would like us to cut from, then please let us know. We are able to take your drawings and use them to cut out your design on our CNC routers in most circumstances. We welcome both individual hobbyists and businesses alike.
