Bespoke Office Desk with Ladder Shelves and Storage Units

Case Study 8 of Our Bespoke Case Study Series

As more people are seeing flexible working becoming a permanent feature of their daily lives, many of our customers have been looking for bespoke office furniture that is practical, but also in keeping with their home aesthetics.

Fed up with working from the dining room table, one of our Customers wanted to integrate a shared working space for themselves and their partner, as part of a bigger renovation. They approached us with their idea, providing sketches and examples of styles they had seen and liked. To fit perfectly in the room as well as accommodating a window, and radiator, the customer provided precise measurements and specifications to help us detail the design.

Initial designs were produced, which were reviewed by the customer. Having seen the sketches in 3D, they were able to visualise the desk in more detail and make further changes accordingly. Starting with a single drawer and cupboard unit, to adding a further drawer, removing the desk top and amendments to the depth, our customer finalised the design and we started production.

We really enjoy making furniture, and this piece was no exception. We spent two weeks cutting, sanding, gluing and testing, taking pride in the finished items. Here’s just a few photos capturing the build.

Once all the items were finished, we securely packaged them on a pallet and sent them on their way.

We were so pleased to see photos of the finished items in situ, and to hear how our customer is enjoying her new office space.

Thanks Scott @dustshack for bringing our vision to life!
