We were asked if we could design and build a 3/4 scale upright arcade cabinet kit by a customer. We have designed and cut full scale upright kits, but hadn’t really thought of making a smaller upright machine. We always love a challenge, and decided to make one.

We are actually quite excited to bring these 3/4 scale upright kits to the market. They take up much less room than the full height upright’s and perfect for a child’s room. Saying that, there seems to be a large demand for these kits for adults! As of writing this blog, the design for the 3/4 upright machine is complete and we have already built one. In addition, we have designed a riser for the machine, which increases the arade kit to full height. We will be cutting the riser out this week to test.

In order to keep the price as low as possible, and to reduce the overall weight of this kit, we have used 12mm MDF material. The kit will be made available to purchase in plain MDF, black or white melamine coated MDF.

The images below shows the precision cuts we make with the CNC machine, to producing our own photographs and the final image of the product.

As with all our arcade kits, this 3/4 upright comes with an easy to follow assembly manual and all the required fixings to build the kit such as screws, modesty blocks, nuts and bolts.
